Recover GRUB

If your Grub is not detecting Windows any more just follow this simple steps to make it work again.


1- Boot with any Linux Live CD

2- Choose Option "Try Ubuntu Without any changes to your computer"

3- Go to Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal

4- In Terminal Write: sudo brug

5- find /boot/grub/stage1

6- root (hd0,0) (*use information retrieved from previous command)

7- setup (hd0)

8 - quit


then just reboot your computer and you'll have grub working again
